Meet Your Guide
Rachael Kinsey
Since childhood, Rachael Kinsey’s passion for creative expression has been ever-present in her life. Following this inherent path, she stepped into art as her profession, traveling the country as a trained professional in visual merchandising, event and floral design, interior design, jewelry design, and more. Her journey, profession, and most importantly, the birth of her son, Kyuss, ignited a new flame of inspiration that led her back east to the Asheville Yoga Center. This sacred, life-changing experience unveiled the mysteries of life, allowing her to explore its depths through breathwork, asana, and sacred rituals. Here, she found herself safely held in a nurturing container—a gift she felt compelled to share with others.
Rachael merged all of her passions and experiences in 2020 when she opened the Crafted Outpost, a brick-and-mortar shop in Wilmington, NC’s Cargo District, where she currently hosts mindful events and workshops for adults and children to tap into their own magic through art and yoga with the support of the community and the natural world. She curates the shop with handmade products from over 40 local makers, including her son Kyuss, who share the same intention—if we take care of Mother Nature and our community, we will thrive.
